Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
RMA & Technical Return Requirements
To start a return, you can contact us at weiyi@geahe.com to obtain a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number first. Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted. For returns related to performance or quality issues, you must provide a test report (such as IL/RL data) for technical inspection. Items must be returned in original, unopened, unused condition with complete packaging.
As we operate multiple fulfillment centers (including Wuhan, China and Penang, Malaysia), the return shipping address will be assigned based on the original point of shipment.
Taxes/Duties: The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the return package. For international returns, please ensure the package is marked as "Return of Goods" to avoid unnecessary import duties.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
1. If the return is due to quality defects, manufacturing issues, or our error (wrong item shipped), we will bear the return shipping cost.
2. If the return is for non-quality reasons (wrong model ordered, changed mind, etc.), the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including Customized Cable Assemblies: (e.g., specific lengths, custom polarities, or special fiber types like PM Fiber).
High-Power Components: Items that have been spliced or integrated into other systems. Large Volume Orders: Products manufactured specifically to fulfill a bulk contract. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Warranty & Technical Defects
We provide a 1-year limited warranty on all passive optical components.
If a product fails due to a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, we will provide a repair or replacement at no additional cost.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper cleaning, mishandling (e.g., exceeding bend radius), or unauthorized modifications.
EU 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (Applies only to EU/EEA orders)
The cooling-off period runs for 14 days from the date you receive the goods. You must notify us in writing of your wish to return within this period.
Items must be returned in their original condition: unopened, unused, fully functional, and in intact packaging, with proof of purchase. Opened or used passive optical components will not be eligible for return without cause.
Return shipping costs are to be borne by you (unless the item is faulty, shipped in error, or not as described on the order).
The following items are excluded from this right by law:
1.Custom-made or client-specific passive optical components
2.Sensitive optical devices (e.g., fiber connectors, WDM modules) that have been unsealed (as opening may compromise performance or cause contamination)
3.Pre-assembled modules integrated for specific system applications
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days,subject to a 25% restocking fee. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
